Local Postmaster honored for 50 years of service
A ceremony was held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Easterlin Bandstand to honor a lifelong employee of the United States Postal Service, James Atkins. The Andersonville Postmaster was honored for the rare accomplishment of 50 years of combined service as an employee of the U.S. government.
