Pacific Islands Study Circle

The Study Circle was founded in Great Britain in 1962 for collectors of the stamps and postal history of the smaller Pacific islands and the Indian Ocean islands of Christmas and Cocos (Keeling). The list of territories covered include:

  • Christmas Island
  • Easter Island
  • Cocos Islands (Indian Ocean)
  • Cook Islands
  • Fiji
  • French Polynesia
  • Gilbert & Ellice Islands
  • Hawaii
  • Nauru
  • New Caledonia
  • New Hebrides
  • Norfolk & Lord Howe Islands
  • Pitcairn
  • Samoa & Western Samoa
  • Solomon Islands
  • South American Islands & Galapagos
  • Tokelau & Union Islands
  • Tonga
  • Tuvalu & Kiribati
  • US Territories
  • Vanuatu

The PISC currently has around 350 members, of whom more than 40% live overseas.
